I had said I would post how I hurt my back, but just didn't, until now.

I'm a Wal-Mart greeter and during the warm season prefer the Garden Center entrance.

Many customers prefer to come in through the GC gate where I am posted. Unfortunately, the buggy pushers are only cocerned with bringing shopping carts to the front door, which is quite a distance from the GC gate.

As a service to my customers I would always gather shopping carts for them to use, which was always appreciated. That Tuesday (the 23rd of last month) I had gathered about 30 or so carts, but quickly ran out. I went on the parking lot, got about five of them and rather than trying to turn them from the rear of the short line I went to the front, which I often did. As I was pulling them the left hook slipped off and I fell flat on my backside on the bare concrete. Fortunately, I had the presence of mind not to try to get up on my own but lay there until the ambulance arrived.

I spoke to one of my doctors yesterday and he said I did the right thing.

I've been a satisfied owner of a BADJOE FReeper CReeper for many months now.

After about a month, for some strange reason, pretty women started hitting on me wherever I went. It's been like that ever since I got the FReeper CReeper. I'm not making this up.

My orthpedic doctor said in all the years he practiced (35) I was the only patient he has had with a broken back, that actually walked into the hospital. I was walking pretty funny, but I was under my own steam. He also said that I am damn lucky that I was not paralyzed from the waist down immediately from the fall.
