These bills could lead to requirements that companies doing business in California pay reparations for slavery, if they or parent companies ever benefited from slavery.

Look for more companies to move to Boise Idaho

Amazing.

And Revenue Jesse, those Chinese were paid for their work, and they were glad to have a job.

"Both Fagan and Jackson support reparations not for known slave ancestors, but for nonprofit groups that promote the victim group's interests."

I've been saying that ever since reparations became an issue, that the descendents of slaves wouldn't receive a dime.

I predict the after effects of this Reparations Lunacy will cause your State to break off from the Continental US and sink into the Pacific. Oh! "See Ya"

Well, it's time to move to Germany. You know why??? At least up front they're up front about their lunacy, and they aren't paying reparations to Blacks. I am pretty pissed off about this, because if this goes through, you can bet that there will be MORE reparations to be paid to Blacks, since the money never will have gotten to the people, just the special interest groups who represent blacks. This is pure evil, and Jackson whould be repatriated to Africa NOW.

The only way I'd ever pay reparations to black people is if they are immediately repatriated to Africa. But before that happens, they ahve to renounce their citizenship, move to Africa, and be implanted with an exploding device that only activates if they ever return to America.

Well since the blacks & the chinese are lining up for their piece of the take... don't forget about the extortion.. um I mean reparations payments to the American Indians, the Eskimos, the Mexicans, the Italians (afterall our oppressive culture forced them into a life of crime), the Irish (afterall our oppresive culture forced them into a life of law enforcement), and I'm sure there are at least 100 other "cultures" that could claim the US (specifically white western european male settlers to the US) has oppressed or damanged them in some way. What a crock. The lies and extortions will never end once pandora's box has been opened.

This would be a gross violation of the "ex-post facto" provision of the Constitution. But then again can anyone name a single democrat who has ever read any portion of the constitution other than the "clauses" that allow abortion on demand or that separate church from state?

So, people who didn't do anything are being forced by government to pay wergeld to organizations (not even people!) who weren't at all involved in the alleged "crime". State lawmakers get huge contributions from the lawyers who will make huge sums of money "dispering the claims".

So government coercion of people against people is socialism. Politicians commiting graft are kleptocrats. The theft of taxpayer money to commit graft by kleptocrats cannot be allowed.

Since California is proven to be a kleptocracy, it should be easy to get the wheels of true justice turning, right?

There must be a judge somewhere in this state that will that will uphold the rule of law and ban these politicians from the capitol. We must find one fast and stop this!

My ancestors only got here around 1910. Does that mean my taxes won't go up to pay for reparations, since we had nothing to do with slavery here in the US? Or have group rights now finally trumped individual rights here?

Reparations! A heavy straw to be added to the socialist burden.

This reparations straw is also irritable, could cause a severe case of trigger finger itch.

In my view, socialism will die in the streets not in the halls of congress. To this end,I view reparations as a silver lining.
