President Bush spoke to the press late this afternoon from the Western Whitehouse, confirming reports that both Israel and Arafat have agreed on a way to end the stand off at Arafat's headequarters. Arafat has agreed to hand over six wanted terrorists to US and British officials while the Israelis have agreed to let Arafat free and to pull out of Ramallah. Enjoy your daily dose of Dubya!

It amazes me that Netenyahu says that there is no greater friend to Israel than President Bush, yet we have people here who consider him a sell-out. I guess they are more Israeli than Bibi. Nominating Miss Marple's post at #37 for a Quote consideration.

Yep, he'll do anything to get himself in the news. It was actually a breaking news item here on FR a couple of days ago. Disgusting.
G'night MG.

I saw this when it happened. I was struck (he-he) by President Bush's tender and respectful treatment of Mrs Reagan. I have read many reports that she disdains him, and I sincerely hope that they are not true.

Second that!

Thanks HSM! You guys have fun while I am gone, but not too much fun, ok? LOL!
To: mtngrl@vrwc
Which HSMama were you talking to, btw????
To: mtngrl@vrwc
You are welcome, but really I just found it and re-posted it from homeschoolmama's post. I remembered that it was on the mega dose because I had never seen it before either, and I fell in love with it, too.
Too bad we didn't get to see the 'Poppy' side of Poppy when he was still in the White House. How could anyone NOT vote for a President of the United States who will lie down on the grass in his good suit and let puppies climb all over him!??
O2

I second the motion!!! President Bush is in an extremely difficult situation, and his efforts to bring about peace DO NOT signify an abandonment of Israel!

Well, actually, Mama told me about the snoring. She said that she heard you one night when she was lurking outside your house in the dark.

Ok, I really have to go to bed now. I hear the hubby wondering where I am. (He just doesn't understand the addiction, poor guy)
