I guess the time has come for right-minded people to contribute only to the Boy Scouts and the Salvation Army. Except for our Church, which also prohibits this type of thing, and our local animal shelter, we give to few other organizations than the BSA an SA. No Red Cross, no United Way. After we found out the local police organization gave to a DemocRat candidate, we don't give to it, anymore.

Except, of course, that the Salvation Army refused to take Second Amendment Sisters tee shirts to the volunteers working to search for survivors in the rubble of the twin towers, and were very nasty when they informed me that they are absolutely, totally, anti-gun, even for self-defense, no matter what the Bible says on the subject. They will never get another dime, or another minute of my time.

Why should they be receiving tax money, anyway? Weren't they supposed to be doing this out of the goodness of their hearts, as service to the Lord?
