As a "recovering trial lawyer" I have seen in many courtrooms abused wives who would drop the charges against their battering husbands. I have seen abused children who thought the parent who assaulted them, loved them. I think we wre seeing the samephenomenon here.
These are submissive, infantile people. They cannot face the truth, because facing the truth would make their whole world come tumbling down on them. So they make themselves believe these horrible lies for self-protection of their own "worthless" psyches. (It is a common denominator that abused woves and abused children usually consider themselves "worthless" because they believed they somehow "deserved" what happened to them.)
Anyone who could bring themselves to type out the tripe that youhave quoted above is a defective person, an incompetent adult. There were many of these types at the Anti-American rally across the street from ours, on the Mall.
There is no cure for such deep-seated self-hatred and denial. The only remedy is to clobber these people in elections, and in Congress and the legislatures, again, and again, and again. In the meantime, we need to do what we can to require REAL education in our schools. Because these are the end-products of thespreading of stupidity that is the stock in trade of the National "Edukashun" Association.
