Trannie contacted Nita Nuprez and asked her to protect his identity. I remember her threads. Gave me chills!

I'm sad to see my 'sinkEmperor' (clinton) and 'Axis Of Acorns' (the dnc bitter nuts fallen from the clinton tree, not fit for consumption of any type) didn't make the Lexicon. Oh well, what to expect in flyover country?

I've only read up to "D" so far, but this is one of the most entertaining and best-written things ever on FR, and I've been here for 6 years. I'm bookmarking it, lest I should ever forget the incomparable creativity and humor of FReepers. Thanks!

The first time I saw "bohica" was around the Norfolk, Va naval base. There were several cars which I remember seeing which had a bumper sticker which said on top in small letters:
USS NIMITZ
BOHICA! (In large letters in the middle)
Our screws never stop (On the bottom in small letters)
As the story goes (or perhaps the legend), a junior petty officer told some young ensign that Adm Chester Nimitz was part Indian and that Nimitz's Indian name was BOHICA. So this ensign had all these bumper stickers made up in the aforementioned manner. Don't know what happened to the ensign or the petty officer.

Thanks Jen. May I suggest:
FRobot- the term for a regular FR poster that may be found in a myriad of forums keeping lively threads and discusssions going.
