I tell all my liberal friends to look at their electric bill (mine has doubled) and if in good conscience they can re-elect someone who could do that to not only them, but to the poor as well, then go ahead and vote for Grayout Davis.

Doesn't hurt to mention that he gave the jailers a 30% raise after their union gave him a 3 million dollar campaign contribution.

I believe the .50 cal ban didn't go through because, as others have stated, Davis didn't want to piss off gun owners and bring them to the polls to vote against him in Nov.

If this is true, could the proposed nickel a cartridge tax currently being considered in committee be used to our advantage? If it passed out of committee and became a ballot issue in Nov. could is be used to bring pissed off gun owners to polls to vote against Davis?

Should gun owners in CA be urging the committee to pass the tax, so that Californian's can vote it down and Davis out?
