Have seen on other threads how powerful FReeper prayer is and I honestly think all the prayers going out to Charlie from here have a lot to do with his recovery. He still has a long way to go. I just don't know how to thank all of you for your thoughts and prayers.

God bless your brother in law. I will pray for him, and since I don't know what he looks like, I will picture my own dear brother--also a Democrat, but a man so generous and kind that he would give his entire paycheck if someone needed it.

Also, would you let us know when/if you find out what caused his illness?

So glad to hear his condition is improving. I know a young woman who had this disease in some of her internal organs. She went on to have a daughter 9 years ago, and has never had a recurrence of her disease. She is also a believer in the power of prayer. Keep us updated.
