The writings of these madmen explain why I have become very militant in the last few months; I am convinced that soon we will have to use our arms before these lunatics sucessfully convince the sheep that it is better to submit to the wolves.

politics of the weak and covetous.

You have hit on the real essence of Marxism: the convincing of the vermin class they somebody has been oppressing them; the ideology of the victim. The sum total of the philosophy of guys like Jesse Jackson, et al.

While we know that pure socialism is not workable, I'd say that pure capitalism is just as flawed.

Oh my.

Start reading here. Then get back to us.

Does anyone want to hold an anti- May Day rally?
Since communists don't believe in property, can't we just crash their event this year?

I can think of a few good signs:
1. Communist: 100 million subjects murdered and counting
2. Just because an idea has never worked, doesn't mean we can't sweap away the corpses and try again.
3. Whats the difference between communists and Nazis? At least 12 times as many people were killed by the Communists.

4. Communism: Genocide isn't bad if its done by your own people. Just ask the Khmer Rouge.

5. Imagine a world without kiddie shills for mass murderers.

6. (With a picture of Lenin, Stalin, Mao, Pol Pot, and Castro, next to an approximation of the those they killed) "You Can't make an omlette without breaking a Few eggs." Alternate text would be " Being a communist means never having to say sorry."

7. "When the revolution comes, will you accept a credit card for my executioner's bullet?"

8. "What is Ingsoc for Gulag or Logai"

9.
Nazis: Arbeit Macht Frei (Work makes one free)
Communists: Re-education through work
Capitalists: Work makes you rich
Which one are you marching for?

10. If communism Works, why do communist countries always need walls to keep subjects in?

11. If Capitalists are such war mongers, why is the only decent thing built by communists an AK-47?

The old bastard should be dug up, drawn and quartered, and hung.

I'd settle for converting his tomb into a septic tank.

The error which underpinned all of Marx's other errors was the notion that religion was the source of man's problems. The "opium of the masses" as he called it.

It had to be dispensed with to make all of the other ideas fly. This hatred of religion was embodied in the former Soviet Union, which executed and persecuted millions in the pursuit of a godless utopia and also in the various other Marxist states.

The Marxist notion that religion is a curse is alive and well on this web site, curiously enough. You see it every day. The atheists, the libertarians etc. Of course, we don't call it that. We call it enlightenment, rationalism, secularism or something similar but it's the same old error tarted up in new clothes.

There really is nothing new under the sun.

Thanks for the clarification.Interesting analysis in how dictators think and plot their offensive and destructive strategy. We can't forget that the National Socialist Party under Adolph Hitler banned firearms.Nazis and Marxists are twins when it comes to confiscation of basic rights.

Interesting comments from a guy who turns to Marx to argue his position on the war between the states. Move out of the children's section, Llan-ey.

Still ranting on Woodrow Wilson, eh Llan-ey? Funny, cause one would think a good leftist northerner known for making crude racial comments like yourself, Llan-ey, would find room to appreciate a good leftist northerner known for crude racial comments like Wilson.

I would agree to a point. However, government should only be involved to a very, very limited degree. Our government is well past that point.

Did Whoopi Goldberg really say those things? I knew she was a leftist but I had no idea she was that ignorant.

While we know that pure socialism is not workable, I'd say that pure capitalism is just as flawed.

You see socialism and capitalism as equally flawed?

It was only because the gov't stepped in on the side of labor by legitimizing unions and setting up anti-trust legislation that we didn't end up with a revolution here.

Labor unions can organize and be effective without interference from government. I'm not sure what government "legitimizing" unions has to do with anything.

In a true free-market, capitalist system it is not possible for a monopoly to endure because there is nothing stopping competition from entering the market. In a socialist system the government can stifle competition with force. It can enact cumbersome regulations and barriers to entry into the market and enforce them with fines, confiscation, and imprisonment.

Incidentally the longest monopoly in the history of the US is the Post Office, which is financed with taxpayers' money and protected from competition by the government.

Since our economy is doing so well...

Doing so well according to whom?

Collectivism, socialism, etc. have been around since the dawn of time as the politics of the weak and covetous.

Indeed, that is precisely what it is.
