Remember, Ron is a past LP candidate for president. He would support open borders (I believe) in the context of complete elimination of the welfare state and complete elimination of any laws restricting freedom of association and commerce.
Without those caveats he'd say open borders was lunacy, as would any intelligent libertarian.
The problem is that it is an assumption. I am aware of Paul's past associations, they do not mean that he holds to all parts of the LP platform. It was the precise reason I was asking the question because I wanted to find out if anyone could provide evidence/facts about his stance, not assumptions.
There are many of us in the Libertarian party that are strongly against open borders. No one agrees with 100% of any political party's platform.
