What a memory for her, we know many people who did the same....some of my husband's partners watched the flames of the first plane hit, in shock...(they were also in the buildings right near the towers)....saw people jumping and got out too - seeing things they never thought they'd see.
My husband also would've been in or around the WTC (path stations) 'cept for 15 minutes of traffic that morning, and he watched the 2nd plane hit the Tower from the other side of the Hudson River.
That is why I still feel the panic feeling when there is this type news.... but I try hard to get info as fast as possible because the terrorists must laugh everytime we seem "afraid".
The worst story I've heard is from a friend of a friend who was on one of the top floors of one of the towers, was in a meeting, and actually saw the first plane hit while staring out the window.
Left the meeting, practically everyone else stayed and lost their lives as a result.
Despite nearly immediate reports that this tragedy did NOT occur in the Apex Training Center, the media continues to say it did. Imagine the families of those who worked or studied in that building.
The media doesn't care a whit.....every fire, every bus accident, every incident is treated with the same frantic tones as on September 11th.
