Never had a problem with jogging and joints
I'm in pretty good shape. I was recently in LV for a convention. I took my brother with me and he couldn't keep up with me. I've always been very strong, agile and graceful for my size. I've been athletic all my life. I'm just a big dude. Most people recognize I'm overweight (mostly the 'beer' (don't do much alchohol actually) gut), but are shocked at how much I actually weigh. (nope, I aint tellin')

Jogging while any weight is hell on your joints, especially if you're over 20 years old and you jog on anything but soft ground.
Look for our jogging-crazy baby-boomer generation to cost Medicare about fifty gazillion dollars in knee and hip replacements over the next thirty years.
