hate bikes -too heavy for a real one (at least my old ten speed -too cheap to buy a new one) and find the stationary are boring.

Never had a problem with jogging and joints

I'm in pretty good shape. I was recently in LV for a convention. I took my brother with me and he couldn't keep up with me. I've always been very strong, agile and graceful for my size. I've been athletic all my life. I'm just a big dude. Most people recognize I'm overweight (mostly the 'beer' (don't do much alchohol actually) gut), but are shocked at how much I actually weigh. (nope, I aint tellin')

It took 10 years for the jogging to finally settle into my joints. And I had quit for a long time. I was riding a bike at 5'9" 210 with no problems. This was the same bike I used at 155. Of course, I have a padded seat now.
