I'll betcha dollars to donuts that if re-elected by this time next year Roy Barnes is pushing a new tax(probably gas tax increase) to fund road and transit improvements. Every political bone in my body senses it, that's why he's pushing for the Outer Perimeter now(since it might be a tougher sell for a tax hike) and delaying the needed local road improvements. Fund the extravegant stuff now, and then plead poverty next year with the necessities, thus requiring a tax hike. Smart tactic, but typical Dem shyster nonetheless.
