Are you going to offer one or two bedrooms of your home to them initially? When do you give them title to what you have worked for? Are any cars included in you kind hearted offer. DO YOU KNOW WHAT SOVEREIGNTY IS?

...When the winds of change blow strong, you have a choice. You can stand in the way and get blown about by forces much stronger than you, or you can watch which way it is blowing and guide your trip so that you benifit to the maximum level possible...(wirestripper)

Sounds like the Clinton/"new democrat" method of government.

...In my view, the thinking came first. We flippantly call it political correctness. Actually, it is neither political nor correct.....I have watched it grow and prosper. It started in the racial equality movement when the utterance of words became major racial issues. It then spead to the media where the common names of countries and cities were changed to a more generic name to prevent insulting other countries. The use of the term "foreign", was even prohibited. Then came the names of sports organizations like the "tomahawks" and now the "redskins". The awful offensive names.....Now in the name of kindness we remove words, change words, and ban songs, poems, and anything that could remotely be offensive to someone, somewhere, or somehow...

Big Brother's Ingsoc Party (English Socialism) has perfected the uses of high technology to monitor the lives of its populace, and to insure unswerving loyalty through surveillance, propaganda and brainwashing. The government's most brilliant and most appalling project is the actual deconstruction of the English language into Newspeak, the language of the Party. Each successive edition of the Newspeak Dictionary has fewer words than its predecessor. By removing meaning and nuance from the vocabulary, the government hopes to eradicate seditious and anti-social thinking before it even has the chance to enter a person's mind. Without the vocabulary for revolution, there can be no revolution. For those who persist in thinking for themselves, so-called Thought Criminals, Ingsoc's stormtroopers, the Thought Police, are there to intervene, incarcerating the free-thinkers in the Ministry of Love, where they will be re-educated, or worse. 1984

...Are you going to offer one or two bedrooms of your home to them initially?...
Why would I have to offer them a room in my home?

...When do you give them title to what you have worked for?...
Why would I give them title to anything?

...Are any cars included in you kind hearted offer...
No, why would there be?

...DO YOU KNOW WHAT SOVEREIGNTY IS?...
Yes I do. Why do you ask?

"We could add the states in stages or have some kind of transition period like "Puerto Rico" status."

They are going to add the states to Mexico. What in the hell makes you want to add a bunch of welfare candidates to the US budget?

Catholic doesn't mean conservative on anything but abortion, birth control, and divorce in fact the RCC criticizes capitalism a lot. Most Catholics are Dems I should know I live in Taxachussetts( and was technically baptized one).

Sheesh! You sure do blame all the madness on the government, don't you? Why don't you look in the mirror? I say the fault lies with us.

The government this and the government that! Do you ever listen to yourself?

Stop trying to read between the lines. I didn't say anything like "government this and the government that". When I want to say something I say it. I merely posted a quote about a book. Do you ever listen to yourself?

The quote illustrated that George Orwell had a lot of direct hits in "1984". The madness does come from the government, but I don't blame the government. Everything it does was either advocated by citizens or allowed to happen by them. Silence is the same as acceptance. I do not subcribe to the victim mentality so popular today.

i'll back you on that one. the catholics out here in redneck, everybody owns at least one
rifle land back an initiative to ban guns from churches... and there already is a law on
the books banning them if the church is posted, or the particular church announces it.

my (former) parish is that way

the vatican has little respect for the constitution as far as i can tell... they are not what we refer to as conservative.

Why do you assume they will be on welfare? They are coming to the US whether you like it or not. If you are forced into a fight, choose to fight on your own terms.

1) Gradual merger of Canada, US, and Mexico under NAFTA. Goodbye US sovereignty.
2) End NAFTA and seal the borders. Good bye US economy as we try to pay for it.
3) Continue with the status quo. Mexicans will continue to illegally cross into the US and settle and multiply.
4) Merge Mexico into the US so that they will have little reason to move. The US will go to them. US business will build there instead of China, Malaysia, Indonesia and the rest of the third world. End social security, welfare, minimum wage and all the other socialist BS that has infested the federal government.

Sorry. I mixed up Catholic and conservative with Christian conservative. Most of the Christians I know are conservative. I shouldn't have made a broad generalization like that. Thanks for checking me.

and all the other socialist BS that has infested the federal government.

China, Malaysia, Indonesia and the rest of the third world wouldn't have an economic lever
on us if it weren't for the socialist scum that infested the white house for the last 8 years.

trent lott is the poster boy for spineless "republicans" who let this happen in a
"republican" controlled congress.

(5) open "grand-staircase" for utilization of the largest deposit of clean burning coal (xlinton sold
the rights to this claim to indonesia); fetch back all the nuclear secrets (xlinton sold to the red chinese)
- you might need the tooth fairy's help on this one; and lastly, prove to the third world that
the nuclear weapons we possess are truly deterrents.

this addled nation of sheeple does not currently have the spine. we use our collective intellectual prowess
to try to awaken Americans to the fact, but it appears to me that following 9-11,
what foreign terror it would take to get our collective heads
out of our butts would likely shut us down, beyond repair. i fear our enemies are well aware
of this, and are prepared to take advantage of it. mexican and moslem alike, they want what we have,
they dislike us immensely, and they have little to lose - especially if they don't believe in our ability
and determination to vaporize them.

I saw a copy at the last gun show, should have picked it up just for guys like you.

Too bad. We had the Great Western Gun Show -- the nation's largest -- right next door in Pomona. That is, until the L. A. County Board of Supervisors outlawed it -- in violation of legal statues -- and the California Supreme Court upheld the rule of anarchy.

Stop trying to read between the lines.

This is better late than never,,,,,,,,,Ahem,,,,,,,Actually, I skimmed your answer, (cuz I can't see it well in blue) and missed the 1984 connection. It's a good thing that I didn't ask you for a Newspeak dictionary. My apologies. BTW also did not see this post until now.......Later

"What in the hell does it take to get them to look INSIDE our own borders......at Washington?"

The people are asleep, and they wouldn't care even if they woke up.
