I could not care less what you think. The French are not a friend to the US, so I have no use for the French. If you are too stupid to see the danger radical Islam presents to the world then I have no use for you or your opinion.

All your BS aside--you still have answered my question. Give me one reason I should consider the French a friend to America?

I am quite impressed. How long did it take you think up that clever come back? You must be a Rhodes Scholar.

Hey Byron, leave the sheep alone for a while and answer my question--why should America consider the French a friend? You run off your mouth without answering. How about a response?

Since Napoleon's defeat to the British, I don't believe they've won any wars, save the ones they were allied to the U.S.A.

It really gets on your wick that they've maintained their own independent culture, eh, Cardinal? I wonder how long they'll hold their own against the Newspeak that Americans so readily accept ... even given the repeated revisions of the African-Americans who've had to inch their way toward finding themselves a suitably hyphenated spot as citizens -- born and bread -- of this nation.

...answer my question--why should America consider the French a friend?...I have answered it. America doesn't have to consider the French as friends. Doesn't have to assume they're enemies, either. But as we have seen on this thread, there's a certain kind of personality that gets their jollies from anonymous smears. The bottom line is this thread sucks and all you guys piling on the French ought to be ashamed of yourselves. I can just imagine how all you knuckledraggers would arc up if someone posted a thread on American military disasters.

...I wonder how long they'll hold their own against the Newspeak that Americans so readily accept ...Don't know. My hope is, longer than anyone else. I love listening to French being spoken, especially by a woman. But the power of Hollywood 'culture' is such that I wouldn't be surprised to see the Pope wearing his mitre backwards. PS nice to see you back, and posting.
