The men who live the shameless, loathsome, disease-ridden, grossly sick, and highly dysfunctional gay lifestyle freely make the choice to live that lifestyle every day. "Choice" isn't what they're whining about. They have choice. What they want to do is to force all of society to recognize their lifestyle as the moral and legal equivalent of traditional marriage. They want to deny the rest of us the choice to reject the gay lifestyle and speak out against it.
I'm sure without too much trouble we could find pedophiles, necrophiles, and bestopilies out there doing the same thing. Does that mean we must embrace and celebrate their sexual perversions and consider their perverse relationships to be the moral and legal equivalents of traditional marriage?

A large number of same-sex couple in this country are raising actual, real live children who exist. Seems to me offering protection to those children is more important than giving "deference" to those who never intended to have children in the first place.
A lot of single parents are doing the same, maybe we shoulda, woulda, coulda just give the special status of marriage to everyone.

This tells me you hold NOTHING sacred. I hold marrage sacred. I am married to a woman, I reproduced with this woman and had two children, one on the way. What it the result of a homosexual marrage? The truth is a large number of people object to gay marriage for the same reason I object to yogurt: I just don't like it and I think it's icky. The sooner you can be honest about that the sooner this silly issue will finally go away.

It is better to be narrow minded and not to let pederasts to make our children join their ranks. Pederasts clearly want to be close to kids, to be scout instructors, to be priests, to be teachers. You are very mistaken. The homosexuality is not the best survival strategy in Darwinian terms. The late pagan Rome was taken over by Christians in part because of the difference in the reproduction rate. Homosexuals and liberals are doomed to steal other people children in order to survive, but it will not work for ever. YOU are the dinosaurs - even if you get huge in the terms of the political and cultural control WE will possed the earth in the long run. The God and Nature are on our side.

The truth is that marriage is a social construct and the species survived a hell of a long time without it. And if the social construct is so pathetically weak that it can't survive letting homosexuals in on the deal then it's time for that social construct to end, put it out of it's misery. There's plenty of species on this rock that manage to mate for life without even having language skills, much less marriage. We can't even manage it with the social construct. Let them in or let it end.
