I don't think we should make abortion illegal for the same reason I don't think we should force the church to change.

Well Abortion was UNIVERSALLY ILLEGAL in all 50 states unitil the leftists started with their attacks ROE vs WADE negated those laws

And those laws weren't in effect because of the Catholic Church. They were passed because at one time it was universally recognized that abortion was the taking of human life

It may not have been directly assoicated with the Catholic Church but religion was the sole reason behind denying an abortion.. two medical advances made abortion easier and safer so the mortality of rate of women having an abortion declined signifcantly. These had huge impacts on Roe vs Wade.. aslo the threat of back alley aboritons.. the spreading of dieases and the fact that the mortality rate would shoot back up were all causes for Roe vs Wade... it simply comes down to the fact that morality cannot be forced on to others... It's safer, more responsible, and the freedoms of Americans are in intact because he is LEGAL.
