SHAKESQUEER
Me thinks new evidence has emerged that doth suggest William Shakespeare might have been gay.

Tony Blair delivered an astonishing slapdown to Gordon Brown yesterday by stressing that Britain had elected him to run the country not the chancellor

That's right, everyone who ever lived, is living, and will live in the future is a homo.Does that include the Neanderthals? Is that the reason they went extinct?

In Shakespeare's day, women were not allowed to perform on stage. All women's roles were played by boys dressed in women's clothing. Shakespeare wrote women's roles for boys. Homosexuals like to go after boys. Some of them like to dress up in women's clothing. Therefore Shakespeare was homosexual. QED. < /sarcasm >

Your hypothesis on the relationship between Shakespeare and his boy-actors sounds similar to that of priests and their altar boys. The parallel is drawn pretty clearly in Olivier's classic movie of Shakespeare's Henry V.

boys dressed in women's clothing. That tradition was still played in a reversal every Christmas during the pantomimes which are a theatrical staple in the UK. The lead males are all played by woman.
It can cause quite a lot of worry when a boy going through puberty gets the hots for the Dick Whittington character. Thank Heaven my mother was a wise woman.

They've already claimed that, too. They've even gone so far as to say that John the Apostle was Jesus' boy-lover.

Oh no, here we go again. Won't the fairies ever give-up in trying to pervert our history? I wish these deviants would just shut up, lock their doors and b***er each other out of our sight.

This is great. Shakespeare being gay takes him off the cursed dead white male undesirables. Now that he is homosexual we can see a re emergence of shakespeare being taught in public schools. I say celebrate this diversity, (if teachers still knbow how teach Othello).

Homosexuals are like Chicago Democrats: they both recruit the dead!

There is strong evidence that Plato, Sophocles, and Pindar were homosexual, among leading Greek writers. There is reasonable evidence that Virgil was. That fact doesn't seem to have preserved their place in the curriculum. The leftist educrats will only use an author's homosexuality to defend or preserve him if he can be used to support their leftist agenda (well, actually, Plato could be used for that purpose, but they're too stupid to see that.)
