We knew exactly who these people were within 24 hours. And we knew immediately that they were terrorists. What do you mean by "we"; do you have a frog in your pocket? Perhaps what actually happened is that you believe who these people were and perhaps you believe they were terrorist but one thing is for sure, you cannot know.

See Abdul Strut
See Abdul dance
See Abdul stab old lady
See Abdul kill kids
See Abdul bomb the school bus
See Abdul avoid the IDF
See Abdul hide behind the schoolchildren
See Abdul hide in the
Christian church
See Abdul run
See Abdul die.
Thank God for small favors.

the planes wreaked havoc in New York and Washington. I am yet to see an Arab reference to this event in words other than "havoc," "calamity," etc. They never once called it "terrorist attack," "murder," "atrocity."

Weikel, at least for myself I resolved to think in terms of the Arab, rather than Muslim, world precisely because Turkey as a country has always been a democracy and a loyal friend of the U.S., including post Sep 11; and, the Turkish Americans reacted to the attack just like Christians and Jews: with horror, anger, and the desire to defend the country. They have not done that implicitly either: on the very next day, the Association of Turkish Americans sent a very strong, moving letter to President Bush (which I subsequently posted on FR).
It is this consistent behavior of Turkish Muslims, both here at home and in Turkey that makes me unable to put all Muslims in one category.
Now, when any of the Arab countries does the same, I may start differentiating among them. As of now, they behave as one block --- the Arab World, which has declared war on us.

It was a religion of peace, that is until a few months after that evil GW Bush became president of the US. Yes, it is all his fault these terrorists were in this country for at least 10 years planning for these acts.
You see they knew that in the future that Bush would run for Governor of Texas, then President and after a long battle in Florida the evil Supreme Court would annoint him President so they could then blow up the Twin Towers with a bomb, oh, no, that isn't right, Clinton was President then!
Oh , it must be that when Bush became President they attacked the Cole, No, that isn't right either, Clinton was President then.
I am not sure how it is Bush's fault, but I just know it is because the Arabs and the Democrats say so.

I like Turkey too but I think the Arabs would be nicer if the "religion of peace" were gone especially the Wahabbi variation Turkey also has an army which bust fundamentalist heads from time to time. There are some semi civilized Arab countries too Jordan and Bahrain.

By we, I mean the American government and people. The names of the terrorists were known and relased with a day. And I know that people who fly planes into buildings are terrorists before I know their names. If you don't know that, you're one sick individual.
