Thank you for posting this running commentary. I had carpet cleaners here all morning, and they were much more intelligent and entertaining than the speakers at this rally, from all accounts I have seen here.

We need to make a concerted effort, in conjunction with the Republicns, VFW, American Legion, and others to put on a huge rally around July 4.

Just my opinion, but I am sick of the left getting air time. I wish I had a "disappear" ray gun....the Mall would be empty of all but Freepers.

The substance of the speakers kinda `splains' how so few Jews been kicking so much Arab ass since 1948. Anyone remember the joke going around after the 67' butt whooping? Seems a large Arab force spotted an Israeli soldier crossing a dune. The Arab commander send 100 men over the dune to investigate. After an hour or so following horific battle sounds, a lone Arab `fighter'crawls back to his commander. In his dying breath he wails, "they tricked us. There were two of them.' Maybe this `splains why they send their children to fight their battles. They are expendable.

Are those Jews behind the current speaker? This should be interesting.

Those are not normal Jews -- they're a subsect of a Haisidic sect. They're Satmars, and they're kind of scary. They take the Bible so literally that they ardently believe that there cannot be an Israel until the Messiah has arrived (and being Jews, they say that hasn't yet happened). They openly and ardently oppose the existence of Israel, and will consistently side with those who'd just as soon kill them (for being Jewish) as look at them.

My dad grew up in a neighborhood in Williamsburg, Brooklyn where they planted themselves about 50 or 60 years ago. He remembers them descending on the synagagoe across the street from his family's brownstone to bitch about the establishment of Israel.

More recently, they were in the news over various fistfights and other sorts of violent anti-social behavior exihibited toward one another, stemming from a dispute over which son will replace the Grand Rebbe when he croaks. I mean, they throw Bibles at each other and have had to hire private security for religious services.

I repeat: Those Satmar Hasidim at the "Hate America & Israel Rally" are not representative of normal and sane Jews! The picture of the Clymer Street sign on my profile page is from that neighborhood.
