Glad to hear you guys and gals are doing okay. As I posted earlier, mega kudos to you and the rest for putting together such a great rally!
"No empathy needed here my old friend."
Should I have used the word "sympathy" instead? ;-)
P.S. on another note, as you probably assumed, some of our TRT guys were chomping at the bit to go after the anarchists and other disruptors. It was difficult for most of us to assume a defensive posture instead of our usual "seek them out, run 'em down, and destroy them" tatics. ;-)

"Thanks to all who stood up for America and our troops and made the Patriots Rally for America a success." Thanks for allowing us to stand with you all!

Hopefully my schedule will be clear so that I can roll up the N.J. Turnpike through Bergen County, Bergen Fields, Bergen Point, Bergen Beach, Bergen Lake, Bergenfield, Bergenville, Bergen City, Bergentown, and Bergenburg to NYC to counter them!"You forgot Bergen Ridge.

I don't know if you noticed the blonde, hippie-type with the long braids, long dress, on Saturday. You don't see long braids too often, now-a-days, so she stood out. (Mostly, the women had 'bed hair') At one point she was giving the police a hard time, and they succeeded in ousting her.
Well, on the news last night, I had the pleasure of seeing her arrested during the scuffles at the 'banking protest'. It made my day, but it probably made her day, too! LOL!

BTW - RadioFR would not have this in their budget. The cost would have to be born by the organizing group and included as a line item in their fundraising efforts.

Gus,
Nor sympathy either - even with the ;-) You seem not to get what happened here and what we accomplished and what we plan on doing in the future because you were not involved in the planning process, the events leading up to this rally nor privy to the personal sacrifices so many made to make this happen. You showed up at 11th hour and "quickly" became involved. Moreover, I know you are well aware of the D.C. Chapter rules and those of you from the MD TRT have abided by them at all our functions. I really don't get why you bring up offensive tactics. Maybe because I come from a military background we look at those two words in a different manner. The last thing we need to do as we march on is to come across as a bunch of right-wing nuts chomping at the bit to get into a fight. Fight the good fight, as we would have in Sept. if they had attempted to remove the the National Ensign from the Navy Memorial. That said, everyone I saw on Sat. stood their ground without giving an inch and at the same time did not escalate matters beyond control. The U.S. Park Service Police did a great job and were our front, side and rear guards - hands down.

I'll take the patriotic dog over the million America haters anyday. The dog would have more smarts than all 1 million "America-haters" put together, anyhow. Besides, when he needs to "go for a walk," we just take him over to their area. :-)
To: Fred Mertz
It was great to see you again and for the umteenth time - thanks for supporting the rally and for driving such a long distance to be there. I wish we would have had more time to talk.
To: Dave Dilegge
Thanks for a great rally!
To: Black Agnes
Our pleasure and thanks for being there. Glad to have met you on Saturday. One of the added benefits of having a multiple state FR event is that so many of us can now put faces to screen names, form bonds that will last, and share insights and make plans for future events.
