Bentley Continental T.
A guy car.

Steve McQueen has not done "reasonably well" for about 15 years; seems he fought a losing battle with mesothelioma, a disease that the CDC had never previously documented in a non-asbestos worker related diagnosis; they offered, by way of apology a tentative link to the scuffed-off asbestos from brake linings due mostly to his penchant for off-road dirtbike racing and roughing and occasional forays into auto racing. Didn't stick then, doesn't now, but funding is always important at budget time.Did you ever see McQueen in "ON ANY SUNDAY" by Bruce Brown. Browm did the movie "ENDLESS SUMMER" also. The first one was about some pals on motor cycles and the other was about surfers looking for the perfect wave. Both are classics.

Does anyone have a link to the worst cars thread? It was such a long time ago, but I would like to read it again. Do free republic archives go that far back?

I got up early to do some work, checked into FR, saw your post, took the test, flunked and lost interest in the work. Guess I'll go out and polish the motorcycle instead.

My new fav. 450hp 0-60 in 4.5, pure luxury.
Or you could have the wagon with juevos! So many unsuspecting people you could scare with this.

You're ranking a Mustang over a Vette or Viper? Now I see why you bought a Miata.

Paul Newman was a pretty good driver, and guess what?, unlike Steve McQueen, he is still alive.

Well thanks a lot....just what I needed.....a gender identity crisis. I'm an old chick and drive a mustang GT convertible and a F150 pickup....I guess I'll look for the shrink's number (as soon as Taladega is over).......... ;)

Yeah, but sometimes the ladyfriends complain 'bout gettin' their hair wet when it rains. Along with : "I'm cold! I'm tired of getting burns on my legs! There's not enough room for all my things!"...
Women! Sheesh!)
A man's gotta have all his bases covered.

Ford Crown Victoria: I enjoy having people slow to 55 mph and change lanes when I pull up behind themMy two favorite sites on the web are FreeRepublic and CrownVic.net. Sometimes, when they cross over, I get the best of both worlds. :)
