Good morning, all Canteeners. Yesterday, and in the past, we have had some "fun" with the Posting Police, and all of us have laughed and joked about it, including me. Believe me when I tell you I don't enjoy being the Bad Guy, but enough is enough, and in the future, I will ask the moderator to pull any excessively long or slow loading posts with too many graphics or graphics too large. If you have news that's longer than the thread itself, start a new thread; please don't post it here. There are many FReepers who would like to participate in the Canteen and are frustrated by the slow load time. I ask you all again to please by mindful of those without super fast connections.

It's still snowing here in Northern Utah, temperatures in the upper 30s. It's been like this all week. That's spring in Utah, you never know what's going to happen. My co-workers from Texas and California are baffled by the weather.

Good morning Billie!! We had a nice cooling rain, so we're finally out of our heat wave!

Hey, I have processed my pics from Ground Zero, and thought I might post them here today.

I stood two summers in a row (83 & 84) on the Coquille River Patrol. It was great. Being Stationed at Coos Bay was one of my best duty stations ever, but the Bandon Patrols were the best part. The salmon fishing was unbelievable!

Morning, Ohio. Would love to see your Ground Zero photos. Post a couple now - wait a bit and post a couple more. The problem is with HUGE graphics where we have to scroll to see the full picture, and too many of them at once. Not asking everyone to quit posting graphics - love seeing them! I don't care if you post 50 graphics today, as long as they're not too close together and not too big!

Good Morning. I agree with Louie. Some of the past posts have taken forever to load - even with DSL. I shudder to think how long I'd be waiting if I was using my old dial-up connection.

The Sacramento area is sporting all sorts of purple and black color schemes this weekend. Even the water in a downtown fountain has purple water flowing. Maybe the Kings will advance a little further this year.

I'd druther watch a good ol' Dodgers game though.
