At Home With Martin Sheen

Left-wing actor Martin Sheen has long been a vocal advocate of spending other people's money to provide "free" housing for vagrants, so you might think his own abode is modest. Oh my, no.
There he is on the cover of next month's Architectural Digest, "At Home in Santa Monica."
And what a spread it is. "The neighborhood is very hoity-toity," admits the star of TV's "The West Wing."
Believe it or not, it's not his only manse. He still has the place in Malibu, where as honorary mayor he once infuriated his fellow limousine liberals by declaring the plush colony a "nuclear-free zone, a sanctuary for aliens and the homeless, and a protected environment for all life, wild and tame."
Why doesn't he declare his own homes a sanctuary for derelicts? Sadly, Architectural Digest does not pose that question. But the idea is intriguing. Imagine how many transients could crash on that "painted velvet George Smith sofa" and those "Mimi London velvet-covered armchairs." And all those antiques could be pawned for a generous supply of crack cocaine.
Not that Sheen doesn't give of himself. According to the magazine, "he contributed a pair of his boxer shorts to an auction benefitting the homeless."
Well, at least some hobo somewhere has a change of underwear.

I have no beef with Martin Sheen owning as many houses as he can afford and who or what he wants to invite in.
Just ducktape his month shut when he starts talking politicals

Hey has anyone seen the commercials where he's promoting tourism to Ireland? A Mexican who stole an Irish name is the spokeman for Irish tourism. Proof of the stupidity of this world!

Too many acid trips, probably.

Very multicultural. What's wrong with "Ramon Estevez"? If anything that would guarantee *more* work in Hollyweird these days.

Proof of the stupidity of this world!I dislike that commercial intensely (as much as I dislike Sheen), but years ago I heard his mother was of Irish extraction (maiden name Sheen). Don't Latinos sometimes use their mother's last name as part of their last name?

That may be, but Ramon Estevez is about as Irish sounding as Isa Rabronowitz is Italian! All his kids are hispanically named. Only Emilio seems to have the only balls in the family to actually embrace it.

My wife received her issue a week or so ago. I didn't read the article, I just make sure the cover is face down so I don't have to look at his smug, hypocritical face.

I was at Fort Benning when this dipshi+ flew in on a private jet, pulled up in a limo, and the led the march against the School of the America's, got back in his limo, and flew back out in his private jet. It was fun asking the morons who followed this ass about what they thought of limo riding jet plane owning rich people and then pointing out they followed one.
