There was no police shooting, no reverends shouting for justice this time — just 300 black people blocking Vine Street on Monday night, pelting cars with rocks, bottles and eggs and yelling “get whitey.”
Some cities would call that a riot. Cincinnati didn't even call it a “disturbance.” The headline over a 3-inch story in the Enquirer the next day said, “Fight draws crowd; police close street.”
Witnesses and police reports showed something worse: frightening attacks on cars driven by white people, while cars driven by blacks were waved through.
Police said it started when two girls, ages 14 and 17, started throwing punches in the street. As cops arrested the girls, the 14-year-old struggled and spit in the face of one officer. The 17-year-old's brother, 12, jumped on a cop — and it took two more to restrain him.
"Get whitey'
The crowd swelled to 300, and 20 to 50 people began throwing things. The cops backed off to regroup.
Police logs show several calls from trapped motorists.
“Group of male black suspects threw rocks, eggs at his car; yelled things about his being white,” says one dispatcher's report.
“They were running up and throwing things at the windows of cars and yelling, "Get whitey,'” said a woman who did not want to be named because she lives nearby and fears reprisals.
University of Cincinnati student Steve Wahoff was caught in the middle of it. “I was giving a buddy a ride downtown. Vine is the quickest route. I knew it was sort of dangerous. But it was still light out, so I thought there would be no problem,” he said. “I saw this large crowd in the street and thought, "I'd better get out of here.' And right then, this huge rock hit the windshield.”
As he hit the gas and fled, he noticed that black motorists were not bothered at all, and one tried to block his escape. Damage estimates for his car were $800, not including a windshield replacement, he said. “That's the last time I go down Vine Street.'
"Really scared'
Kiril Merjanski, a Bulgarian writer and poet who has been in the United States just three months, was also caught in the mob with his wife. “We were really scared,” he said. “Things are not good in Bulgaria, but this type of thing would never happen there.”
Their car was hit with eggs and rocks, causing about $1,000 in damage, according to police reports.
Michael Howard, an outreach coordinator for Mount Auburn Methodist Church, was walking on Vine Street. “There's an element down there that is growing in disrespect for the law,” he said.
Mr. Howard, who is black, says Cincinnati is reluctant to face what happened because “we don't want to return to the riots of last April.”
“But a lot of people are going to be hurt and a lot of property is going to be damaged if we don't take control.”
So what's the excuse? What's the politically correct “root cause” for racial violence that makes Cincinnati look worse than Bulgaria?
“I don't know about all this,” Mr. Merjanski said. “I don't know what the problem is.”

If a white crematorium operator (as what was almost certainly a deliberate gesture of contempt) throws about 100 black corpses out in the woods to rot, would the media have tried to conceal the races of the culprit and the victims? And how quickly would that version of events have disapperaed from the media, leaving us dependent on local freepers for updates?
If a white woman had hit a black homeless guy, would the media have tried to conceal the races there, too? And how quickly would that case have vanished?
If the IRS gave out $30 million dollars falsely to whites, the recepients' bank accounts would have been frozen immediately. I know of one lady who had her bank account frozen without notice because her exhusband owed $2000. But because they're black, the IRS is merely "trying to" recover the money, and the IRS is "investigating" one agent, rather than firing the dozen or so responsible for incompetence, as would be the case if the agents were white.
The Virginia case, where black street garbage attacked white college students ; admitted to the cops they chose their victims based on race-and the worthless LEOs say "it wasn't a hate crime".
That's a few cases that I can recall. No doubt others here could expand that list .Like you ,I am tired of this $%#@**&&, and I have reached the same conclusions as you.I believe several dozen whites-poor ones, with nothing to lose-will reach that same conclusion, if reparations succeed. I wonder if a race war isn't exactly what they want...to establish an all black homeland within US borders, perhaps? They've suggested MS-GA-AL as rightfully theirs, in the past.
In the history of the USA, no reform has ever been accomplished without violence. If a few whites retaliate in areas where $#@@**& like this is happening, the law will come crashing down on them for acts of self defense far more fiercely than it does on blacks who lash out at random whites-but the bruthas will take note, and I believe black on white hate crimes will show a reduction in occurence.
You bring up and interesting point and fact. Like the Israeli/Palestinian conflict, the world yawns when the Palestinians kill innocent people eating at a banquet, but as soon as the Israelis defend themselves, the whole world is outraged.
Just wait and see what happens if "Whitey" runs over one of these animals.

BTW, here in MO, we've tried to pass CCW . The state overwhelmingly supported it (60+%), but KC and St Louis rejected it. Both those cities are two huge urban cancers growing on otherwise rural states, and their populations outvoted the rest of the state. Two cities decided an issue for the whole state.
Care to guess the population demographics of MO vs KC and St Louis?
We were told that those cities voted the way they did because of "middle class soccer moms". Yeah, right. East St Louis and north KC are just chockful of Martha Stewart clones.
What happened to MO (remember the St Louis voting fraud, care to guess there , too?) will increasingly happen to the rest of the USA : A few huge urban districts will elect the congress and the president,and decide all polls, referendums, and propositions.And it's immigration (legal and otherwise) fueling the growth of the cities.
Amen bro! I got my first taste of diversity when I was in 5th grade in Houston, Texas back in 1972. They had just started bussing inner-city Black kids into our neighborhood schools. It was during that traitor Mohammed Ali's ascendance. My first walk to school was met with Black kids spitting on us from the bus. I was constantly harassed by Black kids (whom I didn't take crap from either). The Black kids would walk up to the water fountain and push their way into the front. It was total chaos and it is even worse now.
This "Whitey" will be on the front line with all guns blazing if needed. Social justice is long overdue.
There is NO excuse!
