I was listening to WTVN 610 AM (Columbus, OH) this evening. They were interviewing Kenneth Timmerman about his book Shakedown. He apologized for delaying the start of his interveiw as he had to talk to his editor at Insight Magazine about meeting his deadline for this story to break on Friday morning (4/19/02). He commented that the story will present evidence that the Clinton Administration and the FBI covered-up information linking Timothy McVey and Middle Eastern Terrorists. Timmerman stated that Clinton wanted to pin all of the blame on Right-Wing Extremists.

Demonized is right - they went so far as to claim it was people like Rush Limbaugh (and other right wing radio jocks) who caused the bombing to occur. It was ridiculous of course, but Clinton wanted to level the playing field.

Clinton hated Rush so much, he would plan his TV time to coincide with Rush's show. It would really bug me when the media would pre-empt Rush's show for a Clinton speech.

I have always suspected Clinton covered this up - because he covered up everything which needed leadership.

That morning, because of personal duties, I was not at work and actually saw that early activity live on TV. The rescuers were pulled out of the building at least twice when it was announced that unexploded bombs were found and needed to be disarmed.

It makes sense that there were ten internal bombs, not the unusual number of eight. If those two had not been duds, then the truck would have been in the center of destruction rather than embarrassingly off center. But with our faithful media, such embarrassemnts are easily ignored.

I am assuming that eight internal bombs exploded because there were eight broken steel uprights. They could not be broken from the street, they had to be broken by a mechanically coupled explosive.

I keep hearing these "Blockbuster Evidence of Oklahoma City/Middle East Terror Connection" stories, always promising to go to press "tomorrow", and they always turn out to be the same heresay rehashed.

Me too... maybe a month ago there was a thread about an interview with David Schippers, that all this stuff was going to be revealed "in the next few days..." Well, we are still waiting. It is getting ridiculous.

That's a sharp and subtle observation Mike, that almost never gets mentioned. The truck was too far to the right of where the main damage occured. It goes against the laws of physics.

I believe the (real) interior bombs were set with seismic triggers, set to go off when the ground started shaking. The truck bomb was basically just the detonation device.

gotta be something like that. The street light acroos the sreet weren't even damaged. The power of an explosive charge depletes exponentially as you work away from the center. Even if this was a steel encased sphere it would not have down that building.
