Well according to the NTSB....you can't beleive eyewitneses(even if there is a 100 of them) if they see a plane on fire..

The early press reporting borders on irresponsibility!

Just a little ..

I still remember them claiming the 1st plane that hit the WTC was an "accident" and a "small plane" .. wasn't till the 2nd plane hit before they corrected themselves and reported it was an attack

Like I've have stated this could have been an accident but it isn't passing the smell test

There wasn't a highway .. a road .. a field .. any open space the guy could have tried to land this plane .. instead of smack in the middle of a skyscraper

Even the so-called "experts" are starting to question this "accident". Remember how the "Shoe-Bomber" was a loner? And that the "bomb" was unsophisticated? We were all called "chicken littles" then, too.

Turns out we were right...

Aren't there better places to ditch a plane other than into the 26th Floor of a skyscraper?

Don't forget - it crashed WINGS LEVEL.
Right now, we just don't know. As accidents go, its highly suspicious.

An Aero Commander, not a Commando. :-) A Commando is a fast English motorcycle (Norton), therefore, it leaks oil.

I lean toward a singleton or single cell acting independently on "standing orders" to attack the West.

If the 70 year old Swiss pilot was at the controls, it was likely an accident.

The forensics teams will examine all the remains, looking for a 2nd pilot.

You can also bet Swiss police are accounting for all airport ground personnel named "Mohammed" to see who missed their shift or is not at home and can't be reached suddenly.

Isn't it being reported that this building housed government offices? I wonder in what building the trial was held at which four Tunisian members of a Milan al Qaeda cell were sentenced to five years in jail back in February was held: Al Qaeda, condannati a Milano quattro tunisini [Al Qaeda: Four Tunisians Sentenced in Milan].

The only plausible accident scenarios I can imagine are:

All control surfaces on the plane completely disabled after plane is on direct path toward downtown Milan.

Pilot unconscious or overcome by smoke, also after on direct path toward downtown Milan.

Keep in mind that any accident scenario also would have to explain why the aircraft could not have been directed away from the city during the time after the pilot discovered a problem and radioed in the distress call. I don't have many facts about the incident but most any pilot would instinctively avoid a flight path over downtown at the earliest sign of trouble, wouldn't they?

Add to that the probability of center-punching the tallest skyscraper in town, which just happens to be a government building and a financial center, entirely by random chance, and I have a very hard time feeling comfortable with this being an accident. Sure, it's possible. So is winning the lottery, and 3 people just won. But it's highly damn unlikely. I remain unconvinced. Tinfoil ON.

From this shot, it seems possible that the windows on either side of the supports were blown out by the impact pressure, making the lateral hole look considerably larger than the wingspan of the plane. I don't see any evidence of damage to the brown vertical supports...

and most likely armed with one of the worst wepons of mass destruction kown to man....The Dreaded Swiss Army Knife! he was planning on taking out any survivors on the upper floors by "corkscrewing" them to death.

And shockingly enough, a survivor was reported to be holding a bloody shirt up to their head! He obviously was going for the brain through the ear with his Swiss Army Knife(tm).

I'm glad somebody else recognizes a code brown when they see it.

Perhaps the copilot is named Mohammed and he met the elderly Swiss pilot on the tarmac with a heavy wrench in his hand.

Interesting....

"Crew 2 Pilots + 5 Scientists"

Then why was this plane being flown SOLO?? Or has the co-pilot theory been confirmed?

If this was an accident Travis, it was almost a perfect, top dead center hit.

Not all of us speak German...

Ja! ... Beiherhund das Oder die Flipperwaldt gersput.

This thread has gone on far too long without a Monty Python reference. Not that I'm not enjoying the discussion immensely.
