Are SAUDIS funding Enviro Groups and Dem Senators against ANWR? You bet they are.

In speaking with a friend knowledgeable about the manner in which some Environmental groups obtain their funding, he told me he was ASTOUNDED that either Democrat or Republican Senators who support ANWR- and by the way there IS a majority of the SENATE that DOES INDEED support the well in ANWR, that they have not made public in the debate that the Saudis have for many years been FUNDING Environmenhtal groups in the U.S. to ensure that the U.S. does NOT become less dependent on foreign oil and that Americans are required to send our money to the Arab states.

Most enviro whack groups are now funded by "foundations"- because people just don't donate anymore to these whack case groups- and then the groups- like the Sierra Club then fund many of the NorthEastern Democrat Senators through the Sierra PAC in Senator's states awhich re not affected by environmental policy or land use policy at all, but who can be bought off by Saudi Oil money. If the Sierra CLub et al doesn't oppose American energy self-reliance or natural gas independence efforts and technology to accomplish that, the Arab States threaten the Sierra CLub with pulling their money support of the Sierra Club. Ain't complicated.

So where's the outrage? Where's the Congressional hearings? Where's the campaign Finance lambasting against these anti-American North Eastern Democrat Senators who are being bought off by the Saudis?

It was hysterical to hear Sen. Schmuck of NY the other day say Bush should open up the strategic oil reserve to stabilize prices. Sen. Schmuck should get his head checked and start refusing Saudi oil money by "opening up" American oil self-reliance in ANWR to create LONG TERM price stability.

The HEADLINE SPIN FOR ANWR SUPPORTERS TODAY should be:

Those Democrat Senators in the Northeast taking campaign money funnelled by the Saudis through environmental groups should be careful in opposing ANWR this election year.

That'll get the news cycle going nuts on ANWR... would be great. The Sierra CLub won't list it's donors... wonder why? And they mix and mash their "education" money in with their PAC money as bad as Jesse Jackson does with his own bank account of shakedown money.

Until the Dems who are receiving money from enviro groups funded by the Saudis return that money, they should abstain from voting on ANWR.

What the hell... if it was all a lie I'd still run the spin- Dems do it to the Repugnants all the time, especially lying Dasshole.

But, it is those same enviro nuts who also want to reduce consumption! This story doesn't quite ring believable. How is it that we neither get ANRW nor efficient cars? It is not democrats blocking efficient cars.

The Saudis know the environuts will spend these contributions on the anti-ANWR front. Everyone realizes that's the current battle. They also know any successful effort to reduce consumption will come from the consumer, not the environuts.

We'll see what we shall see.

How come these Enviro-Nazis never noticed that illegal immigration is destroying the environment of the Southwest?

They understand it perfectly well. But they also know the illegals, once naturalized, vote heavily Democrat. That is a higher priority than the environment for the enviros, for whom socialism is the goal and the environment merely a means.

You are speculating, as am I.

Olympia! would be amusing if the stakes were'nt so high.

You're absolutely correct about Maine being on the way to third world status. If a state exists anywhere with a more ani-business bias I haven't heard of it.

These people up here (Bangor) mutter about money "from away" as if Exxon, Walmart and other great American corporations are involved in some scheme to drive them to the poor house.

Hey, Mainiacs! You're already in the poor house, thanks to the anti-business, know-nothing gooberments you keep electing.

Take a look at Stavros Mendros as Baldacci's replacement. Met him at a 2nd Amendment ralley in Augusta last year. Seems to have the right take on things.

Oil companies have been subsidizing the enviro-wackos for a couple of decades. Why? Two reasons, first, the more regulations their are on petroleum, the harder it is for smaller oil companies to surviver, chango presto, a reduction in competition for the big boys. Second, the problem as seen by oil companies is that there is a surplus of oil and has been for decades. The enviro-wackos stop drilling and prevent oil from coming onto the market. This reduces supply and drives up the price. The Saudis have probably been in this game for a while too.

It is a puzzle why Lieberman and Schumer want to kill American jobs and send American money to people who want to kill us.

Title of the Thread I found this on, Why the Jews are Always to Blame...Link below quote...Sorry this is the only way I know to get just an individual post into the fray, Thucydides...Freepmail me with any suggestions or daggers up the jackstrap;-)

Yours is an excellent statement on the psychology that drives Arab and European attitudes towards Israel. To round it out, we need to consider the psychology of the liberals who place such faith in negotiations. They have an extremely unrealistic view of human nature, and think human beings are simply blank slates to be written on by cultural interventions (ideally, managed by themselves). In their view, hatred is simply ignorance, easily cured by some sort of educational process, or through imposition of a solution devised by intelligent people of good will (this is their self-assessment), that will lead to "confidence - building." In reality, Arab hatred comes from a deep sense of inferiority. Envy coupled with helpless inadequacy is its source. This obviously is not amenable to benign interventions of diplomats, concessions of this or that item. Just as the Arabs cling to their crazed fantasy of a new "final solution," so do the liberals cling to their deeply erroneous view of man and of human relations, and in a way it is and has been just as big an impediment toward moving to some solution as Arab intransigence and paranoid fantasy. Any realistic solution would have to involve moral clarity about what is going on, coupled with the use of force to defeat and remove terrorists.

The Opecker Princes could not have any better buddies than the enviral nazis and their hand puppet senators like Da$$hole, Kerry, Boxer, Chifi, the Rino Twin Sisters from Maine, Rockefeller and others.

There is a film clip out showing the great enviral Kerry riding to and from in big limos and SUV's! Remember the pictures earlier this year showing the SUV's that Da$$hole and Gepheartless drove around DC. Chifi last year owned 3 SUV's!

Thanks for the flag- if the Saudis are trying to pay people to oppose ANWR it's no surprise to me.
