The old " let's blame the NRA because they don't do enough" argument. It's getting really old. So where are these other gun groups that are supposed to be so much better? Why don't they step in and save us? Oh, that's right. 75 million gun owners can't take the time to vote but someone expects them to lead a civil war.

--you've got it right. The "other gun groups" are a joke without the NRA. The GOA alone would be lucky to get one vote in the Senate and one in the House. I doubt that the JPFO can get a return phone call from the junior staff member of Senators Feinstein, Shumer, or Leibermann--

And you expect WHAT sort of protection from an NRA whose President is "nervous" about civilian ownership of AKs???? (Sorry not to post the link, but it's no longer in "my comments" for some reason... )

The old "let's blame the NRA because they don't do enough" argument. It's getting really old. Actually, it is the old "let's blame the NRA because they need to be kept motivated to fight for our freedom, and not just for their cushy jobs and DC cocktail party invites."
