What a shame the lamestream press won't touch this. Imagine the demonRAT reaction if this were published on the front page of the NY Times, the Wash Post or the Leftangeles Times!

This, indeed, should be read by all Americans.

Cutting taxes in a recession has not always been such a partisan issue. During the 1981 tax debate, Democrat Speaker of the House Thomas P. O'Neill (D-MA) proposed his own five-year tax cut

A dubious assertion at best. Gephardt and Algore both proposed tax cuts when it became apparent that they could no longer be avoided.

A worthy read, but one that the average American would be too stupid and/or lazy to comprehend.

As much as I am always for a good tax cut, I think we are reaching a point where the spending by both federal and state governments really deserves more attention. The spending in both areas is simply out of control, as more and more politicians sense that the majority of American citizens are simply sheep-like individuals who sit around contemplating their navels all day, and therefore don't have the brain power to know that the government is slowly squeezing the life out of them.

Until the average American works up as much righteous anger over government spending as they do over the 5-cent increase at the ATM machine, there won't be any change to the irresponsible spending taking place at all levels of government.
