[history]
In San Francisco on Sunday, more than 5,000 people sympathetic to the Israeli plight gathered for a rally at Justin Herman Plaza.
According to Yitzhak Santis of the Jewish Community Relations Council, the rally was the largest in the Bay Area in several years. More than 2,500 Russian Jews, who were already rallying in Golden Gate Park, along with 11 busloads of people from the Peninsula and two from Marin County joined thousands of others who had gathered earlier at the plaza.

You would think a rally this size, with a number of distinguished speakers would garner more coverage in the press. I had to dig this out of the back of the online edition.

Gee, 5,000, what a MASSIVE rally. </ sarcasm>
Like the D.C. rally, why people schedule these things for a weekday I'll never understand. The diaperheads can riot anytime, since most of them are non-citizen cab drivers. Most people sane enough to support Israel have to work for a living, a distinct disadvantage in a rabble-rousing contest.

I'm not sure its by the Muslims as much as it is by the left-wing that has taken up their cause. Its unfortunate that the liberals have (again) had the wool pulled over their eyes.

The rally was held on April 14th in Hermann Justice Plaza. Sorry if that was not clear.
