Are these the same people who killed God's son?

"Are these the same people who killed God's son?" No. The Romans soldiers were not descendants of Abraham.(I know what you are getting at.) However, note that God's promise to the Israelites is "forever" (Gen.13:14). If the Jews are disobedient to the Lord, HE will deal with them.(Go back and read that Numbers 33). I remember hearing a reporter ask Golda Maier (sp?), "Are you aware that many bible scholars say that the scriptures predict that the nation of Israel will someday be attacked by the military forces of several of the major powers of the world?" Her response: "Yes......but we are also aware of how it turns out." I often wondered if she really did know what she was saying. All of the Arab countries that joined forces to attack tiny, little Israel in the 1967 war, should realize by now that Israel does know her divine destiny. Only Sadat seems to have finally got the picture.....and his own people killed him for it.

As are you and I.

What is that suppose to mean? Do you not think that the Jew is still the apple of God's eye? Or that God breaks promises or voids His contracts?

Are these the same people who killed God's son? These would be
- The people, some of whom, along with some of the (gentile) Romans, killed God's Son
- The people who, after and in spite of that act, are still presently "are the sons ...of the covenant that God made with your fathers, saying to Abraham, 'And in your offspring shall all the families of the earth be blessed'" (Acts 3:25).
Those people, chosen by God then, now, and always (Jeremiah 31:35-40).

Are these the same people who killed God's son?If you want to blame the death of Jesus on someone...blame me. It's my sins that put Him on the cross.

My sins nailed Jesus to the cross, blame me.

Christ was born to die. This was no surprise to Him. Human beings were the vessels to allow for His final sacrifice on the cross. My sin put Him on the cross.

Are these the same people who killed God's son? You need to THANK those that killed God's son. No crucifixion = no redemption.
