It is great that you all met, and had a good time. Sorry I couldn't make it, due to work schedule, but I do hope to attend a future get-together (since I reside in beautiful HB, too--that makes it easy). Please keep me on the notice list. Best regards to ALL OC FreeRepublic folks.

I had a great time!! I was a little nervous about showing up at a gathering where I didn't know a soul there, but that feeling only lasted about 10 seconds. Hey! To the hostess with the mostest. You guys did a wonderful 'spread' for us Freepers. It was like I was at an old fashion family picnic, down home style, real comfortable and mighty generous. Next time it's going to be a pot-luck folks. We don't want to wear out Badjoe and WillaJohns - well, maybe just a little. Loved those strawberrys dipped in chocolate, hummm.

My lovely wife and I had a wonderful time Saturday. We renewed old friendships and made many new friends. And those chocolet dipped strawberries were the best. (I ate way to many) I must say that this was a great way to spend two hours on a beautiful California Saturday. We are looking forward to July 13, and any Freeping of "Gray out Davis".
I liked Joe's suggestion about the signs for Simmons, we are going to call his office and see if we can get some signs to put out. Again THANKS TO YOU AND BAD JOE FOR HOSTING THIS GET-TOGEATHER
