Brzezinski: We can't ignore the fact that no country in the world endorses what we are doing or endorses what the Israelis are doing.

Mr Globalist from the Carter Administration weighs-in ...Barf.

It is a very sad spectacle. Ultimately a spectacle of failure of American strategy.

That's right, a sovereign nation's disputes with its neigbors is our fault. Sometimes I wonder why we don't just conquer the world and make the world's problems officially our own responsibility, since they all seem to be laid at our feet anyway.

This is the same idiot who said the Russians had no right to fight the Chechen jihadists who blew up apartment buildings in Moscow and invaded Russian territory from Chechnya. His Polish heritage leads him to disdain Russians and Jews.

Very well analyzed and truthfully expressed opinions by Zbig. I consider this as a balanced point of view and a fan of Brzezinski I am certainly not.

Somebody ought to clue this boob in
Saddam is being all this
Bush was drumming up support to go after Saddam by publically dumping on him daily.Probably hoping that the military remembering the huge loss of the GULF WAR would take him out
Did they really think Saddam was just going to sit back and wait
I think the administration was caught by suprise
Saddam pulled the same thing during the GULF WAR when he hit Israel with SCUDS hoping to goad them into retaliating.
They ate the SCUDS for the sake of the coalition but got screwed when Saddam was allowed to stay in power

This time Saddam is using a premptive tactic and Israel is not going to eat daily suicide bombers while waiting for USA stategy to work and Saddam to leave the scene

Brzezinski: Yes, there has been Palestinian terrorism , but the fact of the matter is that we have also had deliberate, overreactions by Mr. Sharon designed not to repress terrorism, but to destabilize the Palestinian Authority and to uproot the Oslo Agreement -- which he has always denounced.

A deliberate overreaction not designed to repress terrorism, but to destablize the PA?? MrBSinski doesn't see the Palestinian Authority as a Terrorist Organization. Also how do you overreact militarily and not try to repress terrorism --total contradiction.

Ultimately a spectacle of failure of American strategy.

Huh ? We can't fix the mindset of people who are determined to refuse a state and to wage terror as a reason d'etre.

That means that in some fashion either the whole world is seized with some total misunderstanding of the situation...

Yup. That's it.

Zbigniew Brzezinski was the U.S. national security adviser to President Jimmy Carter

'nuff said.

That means the U.S. stepping in, laying on the table proposals that point both parties to some outline of a final settlement.

I think we have been there, and done that. One side played, and one didn't. Perhaps Zbig missed it.
