McLawyer wants a 50 cents per pack tax on cigarettes and repeal of a sales tax exemption. I wonder who that targets - haven't read whole article yet. I have the article right here. If there's enough interest, I'll go ahead and post it tomorrow.

BY MY FAVE political editor at the St. Pete Times who is back, Adam C. Smith. I thought maybe he was fired for his Janet the Bunny Queen story. I don't think he's a dem. He can't be because his writing is a tad sarcastic when he writes about Janet or McLawyer.

Last time I actually watched him was when he was down in Tennessee. CSPAN carried it and I was amazed at the lack of clarity in his comments and his demeanor. The man MUST be on mind altering medication.

That must hurt or are they not showing him by design since he's not so hot at public speaking? If you want to be on McB's email update ping, I send them privately. If you liked that book, you should read "AT ANY COST; How Al Gore Tried to Steal the Election". I read this in just a few days - could not put it down. It's a behind the scenes look at what took place in FL. Facinating book. It should be required reading for all conservatives.

NO NO NO - Al Gore did not win the popular vote in Florida - George Bush DID!! Al Gore did get the TOTAL popular votes for the whole United States - supposedly - but Al Gore did not win Florida - George Bush won the state by 535 votes. However, I might add, that even those TOTAL numbers are not a given because of all the mess in Florida where so many didn't vote because they thought Gore had already won - GW rightfully should have had the total popular vote also. Sooooo, already they are lying - already, and the campaign hasn't even begun. Pathetic!!
