Funny, I don't see the difference between the sermon and the homily. Seems to be several bible readings in the mass as well. Give me a denomination that doesn't try to tell you what is important.

Eventually, however, people began noticing that, if you took everything in the Bible literally, much of it just didnt make sense. This about sums it up to me. Anybody who takes the Bible as literal truth is setting themselves up for big disappointment. What nonsense people are willing to believe. And Christendom not ony can end, it must. Everything ends eventually, no matter how much we might like it. There is no such thing as absolute permanence.
