Eventually, however, people began noticing that, if you took everything in the Bible literally, much of it just didn’t make sense. This about sums it up to me. Anybody who takes the Bible as literal truth is setting themselves up for big disappointment. What nonsense people are willing to believe. And Christendom not ony can end, it must. Everything ends eventually, no matter how much we might like it. There is no such thing as absolute permanence.

Everything must end. Our lives are a good example. And as Billy Graham said, "Every one of us will one day stand before Almighty God and be judged."

Praise God, my judgment has been paid, by an itenerant Jewish Preacher 2000 years ago.

We will all be judged by the Creator. I shall pray for you, sir.

What is your evidence for your claim that there is no such thing as absolute permanence? If you have any, can you cite sources? Or are you only sharing your belief with us? If so, how can you look down on someone else for having a belief?

You may chose not to believe the bible, but there IS a wealth of evidence, both historical and archeological, of its validity and accuracy. If you really want to know what that evidence is, I can give you a whole list of resources.
