A San Francisco crack cocaine dealer gave himself six months in jail after a judge told him he had to sentence himself.
Judge James Warren gave crack cocaine dealer Albert Brown his gown and told him he was his own judge.
Brown also ordered himself to change his ways for the sake of his children and to stay away from the area where he was arrested.
The judge said he was planning the same sentence.
He told Brown: "This is your life and you are your own judge." He faced a maximum five-year sentence.
Judge Warren said Brown "was very good at lecturing himself. Maybe this time it will stick."
He gave Brown a transcript of his self-imposed sentence "just in case he forgets".

I'll retract my statement when California elects Simon.

I'm not sure why this gets anyone so fired up. Didn't your parents ever ask you what you thought your punishment should be? Mine did, and I usually chose something wrose than they would have. The judge even said the guy chose the same sentence that the judge would have given him anyway.
Relax folks - it's not like the guy said, "No punishment," and the judge let him walk.

I think there is a moldy pizza in the fridge. Will that work?
To: Texaggie79
Actually . . . LOL . . . It probably would help, but it's choking that puppy down that's going to be the problem.
Please, make sure you take ALL of you antibiotics if they give you any. I would hate to think that you could be personally responsible for giving the bacteria enough selection pressure with which to mutate and survive against. That would really irk me.

I've always wondered if Strep throat was contagious. It is a bacteria, but one that exists in our mouths anyway.
To: Texaggie79
Strep is contagious if you're coughing alot. It can catch a ride in the water droplets of mucous. It's caused by Streptococcus pyrogenes and some people do have this particular bug (as well as other strep species) hanging out in the back of their throats all the time without any ill effects. I've never cultured any strep species from the back of my throat. Some of us carry it, some of us don't.

Happy Birthday TEX! - Mine was yesterday! I went out for dinner and had prime rib and a few pints.
Only time I have ever had Strep it was a gift from a boyfriend in college. [sigh] I miss him, but not his Strep!

I just got emailed that exact same greeting card from my brother's fiancee.

Oh no, LOL!
Well, here is another one. I know you want me to say Happy Birthday again, hahaha.

Spent all day at the docs just to learn that it's a virus!!! I was all expecting to get a penicillin shot and feeling good enough to night to party on my b-day. Now my whole B-Day weekend is ruined.
I got some Loratab (sp?) out of the deal though.
To: Texaggie79
Lortab, eh? :-) It hass hydrocodone in it (a hard drug - you know if you take it you're point a gun at the neighbors right? Bwahahahaha).
It should help with any coughing, fever, or muscle aches you could see with the viral infection. You probably really don't need it, but hey, it could make the furniture feel REALLY, REALLY, comfortable.
DO NOT MIX LORTAB WITH ALCOHOL - PERIOD! No partying for you young man!

I took two on an empty stomach last night and all it did was make me a little sleepy. I don't see why people get addicted to this.
