So much for the theory that mainstream Muslims do not support terrorism and that terrorists and their supporters are radicals who have hijacked the "religion".
We need to round up and deport this scum.
To: JohnHuang2
They called him a "rabid Muslim/Arab hater", likes that's a bad thing?

"
...that so-called "peaceful" Muslims are scared to death to oppose them."
An Arab Christian church was burned yesterday(?). I wonder if they ever spoke out against the militants.

""He is very careful to make the (distinction) between what he calls traditional Islam and militant Islam; the problem is that a majority of (Muslims) fit into his category of radicals," Chaudhry told WorldNetDaily. "What he constitutes as radicals are people who follow the traditional Islamic faith, and what he would like to see is Muslims who have a compromised version of their faith, which is compromised to the state of Israel."Islam has reembarked on it's war of world conquest and will tell any lie and use any deception to buy time to build its' strength. We will have to fightthem all sooner or later and our chances of winning are better if it's sooner.

Just had a thought...This would be a tough sell, but what about either revoking militant muslim churches' tax exempt status or at least banning funding that comes from militant Islamic regimes(which leaves Turkey and Dubai)? This is a political movement, no question.
To: JohnHuang2
They call him names and demagogue him, but never refute what he says. Typical. The far left in the world is aligned with anarchists, marxists, terrorists, racists and people with extremely poor thinking and logic abilities -- all they have to go with is demagoguery and propaganda and lies.
God willing, this political axis of evil will be destroyed, hoisted by their own petards. People of truth, even if they are leftists, should be disgusted by the assorted scum that have infiltrated their "big tent".

From where I sit the Muslim mind is one. The only difference is that some are more honest about what their intentions are than others. That is what I see from where I sit too.
To: monkeywrench
This is what they do to "peaceful muslims" who "compromise their faith?"

To: PayrollOffice
Radical islam is an insane death cult, and "moderate" islam is its trojan horse.
To: monkeyshine
all they have to go with is demagoguery and propaganda and lies....well yes... but don't forget the terror and torture aspects their "faith" contrubutes to our culture, they have that too. They are good at torturing and murder. A nation of dahmer... living in our midst.
God help us.

revoking militant muslim churches' tax exempt status
I suspect we culd get them more easily with the detestable Hate Crimes Law. (As John Ashcroft rather unfortunately attached to the 2-girl hiker murders this week.) Hate crimes works both ways and would put a big dent in their literature. OTOH, Canada just applied this to ALL churches in Canada last year. Churches are afraid to preach against homosexuality, sin, etc. It would have to be done very carefully.

In his response to Siddiqui, Alexander[the event organizer] said: "I hope you won't be shocked to learn that I can't comply with your request that I cancel Mr. Pipes' lecture or that I express public contrition for arranging it or that I allow you or one of your acolytes to preside as grand inquisitor and judge of his remarks. "Apparently you are not aware of the age-old conventions regarding public lectures (and free speech) in this part of the country," Alexander said. "There is no requirement that a lecture touching on radical Islam must be 'answered' by an Islamic radical, any more than a lecturer on fundamentalist Christianity must submit to a harangue at the end of his talk by a Christian fundamentalist."
This Anderson guy is a real hero! Were it to be that all our college professors were cut from this cloth. I don't share the views of Pipes, but the climate of speech-control so prevalent at our universities is perhaps the greatest threat facing our nation. What happens when these lefty drones are the ones in power, and noone has ever taught them how to respond to an argument?

During an official tour of Asia, U.S. President George W. Bush, a devout Christian, sent an Eid message to American Muslims across the country. The message states in full:
I am pleased to send warm greetings to Muslims across the United States as you celebrate the Eid al-Adha holiday.
As you join in spirit with those gathered in Mecca to observe the traditions of one of your most sacred feasts, may you share joyful and reverent fellowship with family and friends.
During this special time, our Nation is reminded of the remarkable contributions of American Muslims to our history, culture, and way of life. Our spiritual foundation and common heritage will continue to guide us as we strive to strengthen our country and advance peace and goodness in our world.
Laura joins me in sending our best wishes for a joyous observance.

For Immediate Release
Office of the Press Secretary
February 25, 2002
Press Briefing by Ari Fleischer
The James S. Brady Briefing Room
12:45 P.M. EST
MR. FLEISCHER: Good afternoon. I'll give you a report on the President's
Q Ari, on Thursday on the 700 Club, Pat Robertson said -- and I quote him directly here -- "I have taken issue with our esteemed President in regard to his stand in saying Islam is a peaceful religion. It's just not, and the Koran makes it very clear." Pat Robertson and Franklin Graham -- both of whom are not, incidentally, known here at the White House -- have said more or less the same thing.
So I wonder if you could offer the President's reaction to their assessment that Islam in its totality is not exactly a peaceful religion, and how it conflicts with what the President has tried to say, both publicly and worldwide about Islam?
MR. FLEISCHER: Major, I haven't talked to the President directly about what Pat Robertson has said. But I would refer you to the visit the President took to a mosque on September -- I think it was the 17th. Within one week of the attack on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon, and in Pennsylvania, the President visited a mosque here in the Washington community to send a signal that Islam is a peace-loving religion. And throughout the various meetings that the President had with members of Congress, even in the week prior to that, right after the attack, the President urged members of Congress to remind Americans that Arab Americans love our flag just as much as anybody else and that Islam is a religion of peace.
Q Does he believe these comments from someone who is as well-known and as widely watched as Reverend Robertson undermined that attempt by the President to send this message?
MR. FLEISCHER: I think all Americans, virtually all Americans, agree with the President on that position. Anybody who doesn't is stating an unfortunate view.

The IRS has certainly aimed its gins at Christian churches which in which the pastor has taken a political line. That church in Indianapolis was repossessed.
I am very disturbed about the schools, mosques, and centers which teach and advocate for this stuff. I really do think we should prohibit any more muslim immigration to this country.

I guess I was giving the less vocal Muslims more credit than they deserve. From what I've seen in the last several weeks, there really is no definitve line between radical, fundamentalist or secular. Even those whom we considered moderates or friends are now openly condoning terrorism. There IS just one mind set. They follow the old Communist line of "the end justify the means". Not good.
To: JohnHuang2
"Daniel Pipes has in the past, suggested getting rid of Muslims in America, he has declared that Muslims and Islam are incompatible with the 'civilized west.' He has on many occasions, warned America of the 'Islamic threat' and suggested that Muslims should be stopped from coming to this country. If we want a country that doesn't look like the Middle East full of suicide bombers, that's what we should do. Pipes says it with words, Muslims say it with actions.
