ONE MORE TIME: President Bush appointed competent trustworthy people but they weren't in place when this happened, as they were waiting on Senate confirmation! What is so hard about this for you to understand? You keep repeating that it is his responsibility, and I am telling you that this was done BEFORE his people were confirmed by the Senate!

LOL... Rebeckie sure yawns a lot... must be something in the water or maybe it's the soothing effect of "eWW'. Don't worry about facts and their relationship to the dates of Mr. Wallis's promotion and who was the Acting Director of the INS. They don't fit with the senario of it being Bush/Ashcroft that did the dastardly deed..... Besides I'm wondering upon what grounds Mr. Wallis shouldn't have been promoted? I don't see where they have listed any at this time. Just throwing out alligations...
