If militant anti-man feminism has become linked in men's minds with women of high achievment, then perhaps she should look to her own gender and ask why. Better yet, she could just look at her own article, it reeks of hostility toward men.

I find it both funny and sad that she so clearly demonstrates the cause of the problem without even realizing it.

Well, the part about the monkeys in Dowd's column is silly, but she's dead on about the guys shying away from smart girls. My friends and I all commiserate about dropping the "P-Bomb" (Princeton, our alma mater) when guys hit on us. Then we watch them scurry away. Why? we might be smarter than them.
