I've got a thought for you:
Don't cut off your nose to spite your face!
The NRA, with or without Grover Norquist, is the single most effective group championing the rights of gunowners.
If the situation in the Mideast is more important to you than your Constitutional rights, by all means, quit the NRA!

Has anyone on the Right taken Grover Norquist to task? There is only so much time in the day. We've been busy with the Norwegians, Billy Graham, Pope John Paul, the French, Henry Ford, Pope Pius, the Brits, Richard M. Nixon, Colin Powell, Germans, Spaniards, George W. Bush, many Christians, IBM, Poles, the Catholic Church, Italy, Austria, Holland and a scores of others who are antisemites or antisemtic.
On top of that, we had spend time defending the ADL, Clinton crook Rahm Emmanuel, the ACLU, Lazar Kaganovitch, and a Jewish Ladies group in Louisiana which is suing the state over "Choose Life" license plates which "advance Christian Fundamentalism."
Been a busy few weeks but don't worry, we'll get around to smashing the man who helped the GOP wrestle congress from 40 years of Democrat rule pretty soon. First things first is all.

Thoughts from anyone?Norquist doesn't adhere to true conservative positions on any issue.
He's merely a suck-up to those with the fattest wallets.

God Bless Norquist. The Reagan coalition is economic libertarians and social conservatives, not to mention just plain folks. Unlike Larry Klayman (ostracized for not being a team player) Norquist is the ultimate team player and has a history of scoring points for our team. To respond to the issue, in my area, the moslems (mostly Palestinian ancestry but some Pakistani and other) are all conservative Republicans...Pro-life, Pro-2d amendment, low taxes, no government regulation, etc. In the recent IL primary more went for Conservative O'Malley for Governor than non-Moslems. Gurn, concerned about the NRA? Why punish Norquist for speaking up for others who are also pro-second amendment. These internecine squabbles is one reason the mainstream writes off pro-second amendment activists like you.

The NRA board of directors are ELECTED.(5 yr members and longer)
If you don't want Norquist there, vote him off.

Took a look at your articles, while a certain scepticism is appropriate it is apparent that Grover has tried to be the conservative 'St. Paul', to the Moslems. Primarily he has tried to convince them as Americans that conservatism is in their interests, much as others reach out to Blacks and Hispanics. Unfortunately he fell under the influence of the personal charm so often characteristic of Arab people, and started to identify their interests with his own. This resulted in his being careless with the background of some of the folks he was associating with, eventually vouching for them to a greater extent than he should have.
He has reacted defensively to the attacks on some of his associates, and now is identifying more and more with them. If he does not straighten out his thinking on this matter he will end up being converted by them to their cause, rather than converting them to his cause. This would be a sad result for an outstanding conservative activist.
The articles demonstrate that the answer to the question asked here is yes, he has been taken to task by some on the right. The conservative movement not being a church, he can't be excommunicated, but he will eventually be a pariah, should he not reject all terrorist associates.
It is obvious that he is not likely to be impeached from his seat on the NRA board, unless he gets a lot worse. They probably will just ignore him until his term is up.

I'll take my stand with Grover, although I disagree with him on immigration.
