"Well, Judicial Watch is holding a press conference in the AM where they claim that they will back up their claims. Rick Ramirez hinted at something like this on the phone to me last Saturday, and he does have a corraborating witness."

I understand. The story might even be true, but the risk is all on our side. Reno is dead in the polls and destined to lose no matter what Jeb does, after all, but if she gets some major sypathy votes by exposing a "vast right wing conspiracy story" as bogus, then she could pull off the upset of the decade.

What's she got to lose, after all?

On the other hand, Jeb wins without this story.

That makes me rather suspicious, especially considering the timing. Reno has plenty of time left to patiently play the victim as a bunch of negative articles are written against her on this story, only to emerge the great "hero" if the story winds up being fabricated.

In short, we don't need this story, but if it turns out to make her look wrongly accused, then SHE benefits...

What are you talking about? This case has been goiung on for over a year now, the hearing was scheduled for today, which is why it's getting airtime now.

You are reacting as if this is some sort of political plot to hurt Reno, it has nothing to do with the race.

BINGO

We have a Winner..

It's all in the timing...its Tuesday evening..going on Wednesday morning .

If were true it would be out early Saturday to miss the Sunday talk shows. This way it gets MAXIMUM publicity.

I see your point, but I think it's waaaaaaay too early to try something like spreading a false story.
