Excellent Idea.
Soon after Rush Limbaugh published his second book, "See, I Told You So," I picked up a copy. I noticed his prediction that once the homosexuals got their way, those within the transgendered community would be right behind them. Pointing this out to others, I told them he was wrong. It would be the pedophiles making the next push for "acceptance." In time, I have been shown how right I am.
Yes, he will need your assistance in compiling such a list as he is still checking out the elementary schools in his new neighborhood. ;-)
Sounds like a great day to schedule spoken exams
(I was going to say oral exams but I didn't want the SADs to be confused as to my meaning)

His point was that we shouldn't be allowed to impede homosexual access to our children. It shows that we are hateful, you see.
A far better idea, IMO, would be for Exodus International to have made a large number of handouts available explaining the destructiveness of the so-called "gay lifestile" (better called Same-sex Attraction Disorder or SAD) so that Christians could hand pamphlets to everyone who was silent. Since those using silence would be self-identifying, there would be no totalitarianism or "terrorism" involved.
Do not try to overcome evil with evil, but overcome evil with good.
Shalom.
That would be my suggestion, loudly proclaim the glories of God on the day when those in opposition have sworn themselves to silence.
Oh, such statements are stricly verboten in our government-run schools!
The use of the words totalitarian and terrorist to apply to this situation is hyperbole. We should be careful around here not to 1984 the language.
I am neither for or against the demo. People have first amendment rights and a right to peacefully assemble. I said earlier the parents and the kids are in control of their behavior. I believe it is ridiculous to sue them for doing a few moments of silence. If they did more, let the school and the parents handle it.
What's your point?
Quote of the day.
Really? How long do you think the activists at the school district level worked to get this event into the school? How long do you think the activists at the county level worked to put this event into the districts? How long do you think the statewide activists worked on the counties? And how long did the national activists work on the states? All to get a bunch of yappy kids to zip their lips for an entire day so they can think about nothing but what it's like to be gay.
The point is, the kids aren't the activists. They're the targets of the activists. And the activists have hit their target square in the bullseye.
Open Letter (to hand out to Day of Silence victims)
Talking Points (feel free to print this off and hand out)
Good idea. And every teacher with any backbone should give verbal examinations. Heck don't even count off for wrong answers, but give big fat zeros for no answers...
I live in a very conservative county with a good school system. But I see private school or homeschooling in the future for our two-year-old.
