Special Jerusalem Report for providing these 20 facts which dramatically illustrate how history has been totally distorted for political and propaganda purposes in the present Middle East crisis. Unfortunately, for the most part, the worlds news media lets this information pass them by without critical analysis or incorporating it into their own editorial thrust, which often goes against Israel.
We recommend that you make a copy of these facts for your own information in discussing the Israeli-Palestinian situation with anyone who may be uninformed. We would also recommend sending it, by e-mail or letter, to the editor of your hometown newspaper, to your senators or congressman and, yes, even to our own United States President at the White House and members of his cabinet, especially Secretary of State Colin Powell.)

All of these facts are important and should be noted and remembered. Of particular importance, in my mind, is this one:
Jerusalem is mentioned over 700 times in Tanach, the Jewish Holy Scriptures. Jerusalem is not mentioned once in the Qur'an (Koran).

I got a great book from WorldNetDaily. Myths and Facts About the Arab-Israeli Conflict. Definitely recommended reading.

I must admit, before 9/11, I was not as hard core pro-Israeli as I am now. What I failed to realize then was that Israel is on the military front line defending Western Civilization. The Muslim world wishes to destroy us all. We have huge targets painted on our backs.
I am totally frustrated by GW's contradicting approach to fighting terrorism. The US is actually an obstacle to peace if we are the ones who wish to stop the IDF from finishing off the Palestinian monsters who are currently in the West Bank and Gaza.
The IDF should rain thousands of mortars and rockets during the "martyr parades" that we see so many pictures of with 8 year old boys dressed as human bombs. Send in the AC-130s and Daisy Cutters. I think that may chance some minds really fast. Until someone can step up to "lead" the Palestinians, then they should be treated no different than the Germans in Dresden, or the Japanese in Tokyo, Nagasaki, or Hiroshima. We still have peace with Japan and Germany.

7. King David founded the city of Jerusalem. Mohammed never came to Jerusalem. The Muslims claim he flew there. Really.

"Jews pray facing Jerusalem. Muslims pray with their backs toward Jerusalem"
Geography??
Osama comes from Yemen, so wouldn't it be pretty hard, indeed a real
streeeetch for him to pray facing Mecca with his back towards Jerusalem.

21. There is not one recent example of Israelis making suicide bombing runs;
22. Israeli offensives target terrorists, military, or government authority, and usually only when provoked;
23. Palestinians target civilian men, women, and CHILDREN;
24. Palestinians send 10 year old children to kill;
25. Israelis only want to live in peace and be left alone;
26. Palestinians want to drive Israel into the sea;
27. Israel is a democracy;
28. Palestine (if it exists) is totalitarian and imperialistic.

This is a blood fued, the children of Abraham have turned. Like Cain who killed his brother Able, history does repeat itself. Interesting note to all the Freepers out there who are into Star Trek. The Star Trek movie Insurrection is supposed to be womewhat based on the Israeli/Palestinan conflict, with an somewhat anti Israel bias. Watch the movie and tell me if you think thats true.

I am sick of the Palistinian/Israeli conflict. The way it's going to end is already obvious, just as the US took all of the american indians land. The westbank and probably gaza will be incorporated into Israel, the golan heights as well. The Israeli's will find some way to get the Palistinians to leave, just as they found a way to get them to leave the rest of what is now Israeli territory. Hopefully that will be the end of it by satisfying Israeli territorial ambitions. Israeli methods have been the same for 60 years, incite the arabs to attack thereby gaining the moral advantage, then use their military advantage to take more land because it's needed for their security. Through legal manipulations they have managed to isolate all the towns and villages on the westbank, with limited access highways, which require palistinians to go through check points just to get from one town to the next.
The palistinians are like a bunch of country rubes, being cheated out of their land by a bunch of city slicker lawyer types. They play right into the Israeli hands at every turn. Suicide bombers, what a perfect excuse for some more Israeli land grabing, all in the name of security of course. Of course we're going to return to our previous borders, after we destroy the terrorist infrastructure the Israeli's say. When the time comes however, you will see that they will need to have some additional positions for their security you understand. It's clear the palistinians have been and are still being robbed. If they had any sense they'ed have used their UN support to sell their land, and gain reparations for some outrageous figure, and immigration rights to the developed world. But their a bunch of arab idiots.

Israel became a nation in 1312 B.C, 2,000 years before the rise of Islam. Yes ---the Muslims seem to forget when they say that Jews don't belong in the Middle East that Jews were there for many centuries before Islam was even invented. If things must stay the way they were at one time then all Muslims should be wiped out and the Middle East returned to the way it was before Mohammed was even born.

Noted the conflicting accounts of the Jewish/Arab conflict.
Makes my brain hurt trying to discern the truth.
However, a people who believe in and promote suicide bombing, should be obliterated from the Earth, no matter where they live!
(Just MHO!)

Thanks for the post. As far as I know, Mohammedans divide the world between the "world of peace" and the "world of war." Once a piece of land becomes a part of the "world of peace" it must remain a part of the "world of peace." Hence Mohammedan "ownership" of Jerusalem.

7. King David founded the city of Jerusalem. Mohammed never came to Jerusalem. No. David captured the city and made it his capital.
8. Jews pray facing Jerusalem. Muslims pray with their backs toward Jerusalem.
Moslems pray facing Mecca. If Jerusalem lies between the Moslem and Mecca he will face Jerusalem.

7. King David founded the city of Jerusalem. Mohammed never came to Jerusalem. Didn't Salem, the nucleus of what later became Jerusalem, exist back in Abraham's day?
I further understand that Melchizedek was the King of Salem and priest of the "Most High God" at that time.
And at some point Melchizedek blessed Abraham at that location.
So, I believe that God's people have a history with that location long predating King David.
