This action has found/destroyed well over 50 suicide bomber belts. Sharon's little war has saved up to hundreds of Israeli civilian lives. It's the Palestinians' responsibility not to carry out suicide bombings, it's not Sharon's responsibility to try to appease them so they won't bomb him.

Israel did not lose. To not take action against Islamic agression always invites more. Don't look for perfect solutions from Israel because you don't have any solution. You don't have any solution. Israel may have lost, but the war will be theirs to win now. Between this incident and the bus bombing that just happened, I can gurantee you that Sharon will now impose a settlement to this problem to his nation's liking. Powell just became irrelevant in less than 24 hours.

I don't see how they can possibly win...when the major media conglomerates so obviously distort news reports to portray Israel in a bad light. A couple of examples: No retraction of stories blaming Israel for Mohammed Dura's death when a German camera crew came out with proof otherwise....and the reports of the IDF killing an Red Crescent ambulance driver, but no report that the ambulance had just run a security checkpoint....and recently, no report of the plastic explosives the Israelis and the Intl Red Cross found hidden in a Crescent ambulance....underneath the Palestinian child it was transporting...
