The idea of Israel had its charms, but frankly I think it has done more to damage Judaism world wide than anything else. And you wouldn't want Judaism damaged, right?

Being such an old religion and having so few devotees, it is clear that it never has been very successful. There are about 100 Muslims for every Jew. The Koran is newer than the Books of Moses. Ergo, Islam is a success, Judaism a failure. Right?
Madonna is unspeakably rich, and still with us. Mozart was buried in an unknown spot, penniless, and quite some time ago. Ergo, Madonna is a success, Mozart was a failure. Right?

Just three weeks ago my chorale group performed a composition by Mozart. Who is Madonna?By God, you're not so bad as I'd thought. Welcome to FreeRepublic.
Over the long haul, as you pointed out, even vox populi rates Mozart higher than Madonna.
Let me suggest, however, that numbers have no bearing upon the success or failure of a religion. After all, sinners vastly outnumber (and have and will always outnumber) saints.
