It's really sad what's happened to the Jesuits in the last 20 years or so. An older generation of mostly straight-laced leaders is now almost completely gone. The new generation's liberal attitudes are seriously damaging the order. On his hit-piece last week on ABC, Peter Jennings had a couple of Jesuits on there with nothing but good things to say about homosexuality. Now I don't know if their comments were taken out of context, but it would be hard to interpret them as anything other than very disturbing.

For all those who think doing away with celebacy is not a reasonable think I ask they following : "How do you account for the preponderance of homosexuals in the prieshood, far above that in secular society ? "
