They left out: 70AD, Romans actually name the province 'Palestine'

Acting like the area was full of Palestinians since 3000 B.C. is pure propaganda.

Where is the Ottoman Empire when you really need it?

"Palestinians" are Arabs.

I am a Palestinian

Who says so?

The PLO Charter

Article 5: The Palestinians are those Arab nationals who, until 1947, normally resided in Palestine regardless of whether they were evicted from it or have stayed there. Anyone born, after that date, of a Palestinian father - whether inside Palestine or outside it - is also a Palestinian.

Article 6: The Jews who had normally resided in Palestine until the beginning of the Zionist invasion will be considered Palestinians.

By these two articles- by their criteria. I am a Palestinian

Also, they fail to mention when Rome stops allowing Jewish kings to administer the province.

Everything after The Mamelukes are defeated by the Ottomans is loaded with liberal propaganda, and should be taken with a "Barf Alert".

Currently the Jews own Israel unless someone can take it away.

The following are all technically incorrect. The name "Palestine" was not used until the Romans destroyed Jerusalem and dispersed the Jews out of Judea, Galilee, Samaria, and other adjacent territories. They renamed the area "Palestine" (English transliteration) after the Philistines, as a direct insult to the Jews, and to further alienate any Jewish claim to the land.
539BC -- Under Cyrus the Great, the Persians conquered Babylonia. The Jews were allowed to return to Judaea, a district in Palestine.
333BC -- Alexander the Great captures Palestine. His successors -- the Egyptian Ptolemies and the Syrian Seleucids -- tried without success to force Greek culture and religion on the people.
141-63BC -- The Jews revolted and established an independent state. This lasted until Pompey the Great conquered Palestine for Rome and made it a province of the Roman Empire ruled by Jewish kings. Rome ruled Palestine for about 700 years.

Also intersting how this skips from:
May 1999 -- Israelis elect a new Prime Minister, Ehud Barak, to lead them in the peace process with the Palestinians and neighbouring states.
To:
Sept 2000 -- Intense violence escalates. More than 400 people die in Israel in a matter of 14 weeks (380 Palestinians).

There's a lot of filler missing between these two dates, no?
Like:

* Barak offers 85%+ (I forget the exact number) of the West Bank & Gaza as a Palestinian state, as peice of land that comes within 9 miles of the Mediterranean (and of TelAviv). Arafat abruptly cancels teh talks and walks away.

* A controversy erupts when it's discovered that construction workers on the Temple Mount are destroying ancient artifacts from the Jewish Temple.

* The Al-Aqsa Intifada erupts - supposedly because there is one Jew in the world - Ariel Sharon - who is forbidden from visiting Judaism's holiest site - the Temple Mount - on fear of deadly Jihad. Even though he's visiting as a member of the Knesset investigating the destruction of ancient artifacts.

"who started the Six days War"

The precipitating factor was an Egyptian blockade of Israeli shipping in the gulf. This coincided with a massive Arab military buildup (400,000 soldiers) along Israel's borders with Egypt and Jordan. Fearing imminent invasion, Israel launched a pre-emptive strike which crippled the Egyptian air force and artillery, pretty much winning the war in the first few hours. So who started it depends on how you look at it.

I've always marveled that this strip of desert is so important to these folks. You'd think that if they pooled their resources they could buy up some coastal land in, oh, say, Florida. Oh, yeah, they already did that. Seriously, it's unreal to be so attached to such marginal rocky scrub land...just unreal.

"who started the Six Days War"

I forgot to mention that in the weeks leading up to the Arab military buildup, Egyptian President Nasser was engaging in a lot of bellicose "we will destroy Israel" speechifying.

Since you're a Palestinian and a Freeper, I guess an equivalent high tech means of bombing us fellow freepers would be to upload/post a picture of Hillary's thighs.

See, the very quickest solution to the problem - rename the country. Hey, East Pakistan did it (Bangla Desh), Upper Volta did it (Burkina Faso), why not Israel?

Never the less the Jews do own Israel at this time. If someone does not like it they can go in there and take it away. Just like us here in America. If you or anyone wants America then let them come and try to take it.

I guess this land is up for grabs to whoever can kick the most butt. Next thing you know some Caananites will show up and want the return of their ancestral fishing rights in the dead sea.

No, it's not.

Do you realize what the Jews did when they returned into this region? It blossomed! They did in less than 100 years what Arabs never could do in the same sort of region.

That "rocky scrub land" as you call it is now a flower in the desert.

Saying the Philistines conquered Isreal is quite a bold statement.

Furthermore, the Crusader armies controlled the holy land from 1100 to about 1210. But I see no mention of this.
